Who Are We
Kontempo Healthcare was founded in 2023 in Maryland by Dr. Danalee H. A. Robb, APRN, AGPCNP, DNP. The company was created with a clear mission: to expand access to high-quality, patient-centered healthcare through telemedicine services for Maryland, the District of Columbia, and surrounding area residents, meeting people where they are, literally and figuratively.
The idea for Kontempo Healthcare grew out of Dr. Robb’s more than thirty-five (35) years of clinical experience caring for adults and older populations, and her firsthand awareness of the barriers many patients face in accessing timely good good-quality care. long travel times, limited mobility, busy schedules, and provider shortages often prevent individuals from receiving consistent medical attention. Kontempo Healthcare was established to help close that gap by using secure, modern telehealth technology combined with compassionate, evidence-based clinical practice.
Today, Kontempo Healthcare focuses on delivering convenient, professional, and personalized virtual care, grounded in clinical excellence, a holistic approach, and respect for the whole person. The practice reflects Dr. Robb’s commitment to advancing healthcare that is contemporary in approach, responsive to patient needs, and rooted in the belief that quality care should be accessible, respected, dignified, and dependable for every patient served.
